Jaguar & Land Rover - Sept 99 - Mar 06
As senior web designer of the web technology centre within Jaguar's Information Technology, my responsibilities include:
- Development of web navigation tools for Jaguar/Land Rover and PAG (Premier Automotive Group)
- Single point of contact for applications supported upon Jaguar's, Land Rover and PAG Intranet.
- Liaising with internal departments within Jaguar and Land Rover, in order to identify departmental online requirements.
- Development of a Jaguar, Land Rover and PAG corporate branded web interface. Liaising with Corporate Identity and Marketing of the three groups.
- Development of Jaguars intranet strategy to achieve internal supply chain efficiency
- Provide web support, administration and consultancy to all data owners
- Developed Land Rover Gear intranet site using Content Management Server (CMS)
- Developing an E-Marketing strategy for the heritage Motor centre.
Branding the intranet to incorporate both brands corporate identity was the challenge, as well as providing a fully functional search facility and most used links. Other projects include brand journey, land rover gear, jaguar collection and corporate branding.
Corporate Branding
i have worked extensively with both Jaguar and Land Rover's Corporate Brand team to help brand the intranet and providing web support to users in developing their own micro sites using templates designed by myself, toolkit development, colour chats and Images.
The Jaguar brand in particular has gone through an evolutionary change over the last 18 months which has had an impact on all types of media.
